DIAGNOSIS WITHIN WEEKS
Current timelines to assess children suspected of having Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) are unreasonable. Our staff of certified ADOS-2 specialists use the AT4K 4-step process to assess children within weeks of scheduling an initial consultation.
Step 2: Provide Patient History
Once your child is considered a candidate for an autism assessment, you are required to complete several questionnaires describing your child’s history. These must be complete prior to scheduling an in-office ADOS-2 evaluation.
Step 3: Participate in an Evaluation
Once the questionnaires are finalized, your child will be scheduled for an in-office ADOS-2 evaluation with a certified ADOS-2 specialist. This is an activity-based assessment used to evaluate your child’s communication skills, social interaction, and imaginative use of materials. A specialist will interact with your child in a playroom atmosphere, while you, the parent is present.
Step 4: Receive a Diagnosis
After reviewing the patient history, questionnaires, and ADOS-2 testing data, a specialist will meet with you to discuss the results and whether an autism diagnosis for your child is appropriate. You will also receive a written report, including formal documentation of the ASD diagnosis.
Preparing for the In-Office ADOS-2 Assessment

- Tell your child they will be playing games and having fun
Please Keep In Mind
