What an Autism Evaluation in Denver Includes

An AT4K evaluation is a full diagnostic assessment, not a screening or an online quiz. Your child is evaluated in person at our Centennial office by a doctoral-level licensed psychologist who assesses children for autism every day. A typical evaluation includes:

• Parent questionnaires and a detailed developmental and medical history
• Standardized, evidence-based assessment measures appropriate to your child’s age, including measurements accepted by insurance for therapy services
• Structured behavioral observation of your child
• A diagnostic conclusion based on DSM-5-TR criteria
• A written report with specific recommendations for ABA therapy, support at school, and other services

One visit. If the drive from Boulder, Fort Collins, or the foothills is your concern, know that you are only required to come to the Centennial office for one visit. Everything else, from intake through your feedback session, is handled without another trip.
