How a Virtual Autism Evaluation Works

  1. Consultation. We help determine whether your child should be assessed. If an evaluation isn’t appropriate, we’ll tell you.
  2. Patient history. You complete a structured pre-evaluation questionnaire about your child’s development, so evaluation time is spent evaluating.
  3. The evaluation. Your child participates in a 90-minute video session with a certified specialist, using assessment activities designed for telehealth. You’ll be coached on setup — all you need is a device with a camera and a quiet room.
  4. Diagnosis and report. We meet with you to explain the outcome, answer questions, and deliver your report — the whole process completed within weeks of your first contact.
